CUA30915 CERTIFICATE IV IN MUSIC INDUSTRY (PERFORMANCE)

Eligible Student:

Students studying the Certificate IV in Music Industry (Performance) qualification will continue to
develop their skills as a performer and musician in a number of different aspects, in preparation for
employment within the music industry.

Placements of students into a venue will be part of the course. They will learn how to effectively
manage themselves within the music industry and undertake a number of tasks to help them
pursue their music career including, seeking and booking performances at venues, how to
effectively promote yourself, your band, etc. to maximize exposure, how to manage financial and
business aspects of the music industry, and much more.

Students will also learn to develop and maintain essential stagecraft skills to help enhance
performances, including different ways of engaging the audience, and creating an atmosphere that
will leave the audiences wanting more.
